"The beautiful woman in the baltic"Our film "Die Schöne in der Ostsee" ("The Beautiful Woman in the Baltic") is intended to provide you with a practical case study showing the advantages of mediation and illustrating how a case proceeds.
At the suggestion of an attorney both parties agree to go to mediation ... and the mediator is the attorney Dr. Reiner Ponschab. This segment provides a brief glimpse of the film.
The film is equally suitable for attorneys, mediators (any anyone wanting to become one) and parties looking for out-of-court conflict resolution. It has been created by mediation students and offers an excellent basis for discussions for developing one's own mediation style. For non-members the film is available for € 40 for the DVD and € 35 for the VHS version, in both cases including VAT and plus mailing costs.

Our case revolves around a photo album about the island of Rügen that was originally supposed to be published in cooperation between a woman author and a photographer friend. However after an argument the photographer backs out of the project. But when the book is published he is forced to discover that his photos have been used despite the fact that the business relationship was terminated. He demands compensation and wants to assert his claim to it by conventional recourse to court litigation. In court it soon becomes clear that a corresponding judgment would entail many disadvantages for both parties.
